Este laboratorio está implicado en varias líneas de investigación:

  • Genética de poblaciones de organismos marinos utilizando marcadores moleculares para determinar estructura de las poblaciones, su variabilidad genética, la diferenciación genética entre las poblaciones, etc…
  • Evaluación de la variabilidad genética de  stocks de reproductores de peces.
  • Uso de RFLPs en  programas de selección asistida por marcadores (MAS).
  • Citogenética molecular mediante FISH.
  •  Localización y mapeo de genes en peces y moluscos, mediante FISH y secuenciación NGS.
  • Proyecto genoma de  Crassostrea angulata mediante NGS.
  • Identificación y trazabilidad de especies.
  • Determinación de genotoxicidad.
  • Caracterización cromosómica de especies de dinoflagelados: relación entre número cromosómico y patogenicidad.
